How It Started

The polos that started it all

When Andrew lost a significant amount of weight, his closet didn't keep up — a stack of golf polos, still in great shape, suddenly a size too big. Rather than let them sit in a donation bin, we decided to sell them ourselves.

That's when we noticed something: there's a real gap in the secondhand market for men's clothing, especially golf apparel. Nobody was doing it well.

How We Work

One eye for the rack, one for the numbers

Katie has the eye — she can spot a Peter Millar or a TravisMathew piece across a crowded rack and knows exactly what's worth a second life. Andrew runs the business side — the numbers, the operations, the parts that keep a two-person shop actually running like one.

We're husband and wife, and 70Fore Apparel is what happens when a closet clean-out turns into a real partnership.
